Crashes when trying to start project with assets

    Any time I try to start a project with assets, the game crashes on start-up, and I can't import them from within a project because they don't show up in the import assets dropdown. Any ideas on if this may be a user error rather than an issue with Unity itself?

    i try to create and start new project with some asset package, and it works without any crash

    When the crash occurs, can you file a bug report (with the project attached) and post the resulting case number here?

    We're not currently bundling the standard assets with the Linux installers, but you should be able to grab them from the Asset Store, in the Unity Essentials section.
