Crash when launching game from background Unity 5.5? UnityConnectService::HandleSessionState(bool) (

    Im getting a crash on the following line, see crash.txt <attachment>

    UnityConnectService::HandleSessionState(bool) (BaseConnectSettings.h:15)

    Has anyone seen this on a iOS device? Im on Unity 5.5p1. Anyone have the source and know what the following line is doing? UnityConnectService::HandleSessionState(bool) (BaseConnectSettings.h:15)

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Confirmed, were getting the same crash in Unity 5.5p2

    @GuyTidhar not related to that ticket. This appears to be a different issue.

    5.5p2 still has this crash. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Does anyone at Unity or otherwise have the code to "BaseConnectSettings.h line 15"? I filed a bug but no one was able to repro. I think there could be some safeguards on that line? Any help would be appreciated.

    We downgraded our game to Unity 5.4 and no longer see that crash. This crash seems to be only happening in Unity 5.5. Unfortunately I have no other repro steps, just the crash report to go off for you guys.

    Crash is still happening in Unity 5.5p3. Im going to create an empty project via cloud build and see if i can repro. Hold tight.

    Empty project still happens in release mode via Unity Cloud Build. I will try a standard release build.

    Ok, I think I found the crash. Ill try to report this to the bugs email thread im currently on.

    The crash happens on 5.5+ when you disable Unity Analytics as a service. With Unity Analytics enabled, the crash goes away.

    Crash steps are:
    1) Build the iOS app on Unity Cloud Build Unity 5.5+ ( do not build locally, only UCB )
    2) Install and launch the app on iOS
    3) Background the app
    4) Wait 45 minutes
    5) open the app

    Fix: Enabling Unity Analytics in the Services window.

    We are seeing this crash as well and we definitely have Unity Analytics disabled. Has anyone found a workaround that does not involve enabling Unity Analytics or aware of this being fixed in a future version?

    Hi all,
    I'm on the Analytics team, and we believe that the issue is fixed in 5.5.1p2; our QA guy is occupied with GDC activities at the moment, but I will have him post here with verification.

    Hey all,
    I verified the issue on 5.5 (was able to reproduce it) and the fix on 5.5.1p2. App doesn't crash anymore on 5.5.1p2
