Question Crash in BoxManager::prepareData

    Hi,

    We've been experiencing periodic crashes (Access Violation) with an interactive kiosk application built in Unity 2020.3.22f1, running on Windows. Looking at our crash dump the issue is occurring in:

    UnityPlayer!internalABP::BoxManager::prepareData+0x8fe:
    FAULTING_SOURCE_LINE: c:\build\output\unity\physx\physx\source\lowlevelaabb\src\bpbroadphaseabp.cpp
    FAULTING_SOURCE_LINE_NUMBER: 1690


    We are not using any physics in the application and there's no rigidbodies or colliders in the scene so we're a little confused about where this could be coming from. If anyone has run into anything similar to this error and had any pointers that would be extremely helpful as we have been unable to locate what could be causing it in the application.

    Hi John

    Have you found the issue? We are having the same problem in 2021.2.5f1, though we are physics heavy.
    The crash is so random though, it is impossible to make a bug report
