Couple of questions

    Is it smart to have one big 8x8km terrain in terms of performance, or it's better to make it from smaller parts which will be procedural? 8x8km is big terrain, but not too big.

    When will "High Definition Render Pipeline" be ready?

    It isn't possible to paint larger 3d grass patches onto hills or slopes, it doesn't align to the terrain normals. Will these painting tools be redesigned? Is there some good external solution?

    This really is not game design but implementation. You might find more answers in the World Building section of the forums. :)

    Guess what, i have asked similar questions in another section, and nobody answered.

    Btw, when you "design a game" you also "build your world". There should not be separated sections for the same process.

    Actually, no. This is where we discuss design not where we show you how to build your world or your game. You will get much more help in the appropriate forum. However, if you wish to just complain here, that is your prerogative I guess. lol
