Kybernesis' next game, Corp Wars: Karavan is currently under development. The game draws inspiration from games like Sid Meier's Pirates!, FTL and Strikefleet Omega and puts the player in the role of a Karavaneer roaming the post-apocalyptic wastelands, exploring ruins from before the apocalypse, trading with cities and more.

You can also find Corp Wars: Karavan on Steam Greenlight concepts, so feel free to give any feedback on what you think so far either here or there :)

Here's a short GIF showing the current state of Exploration mode

And here's a GIF showing off one of the Mega Transports and a selection of escort vehicles.

Are you using a special shader for the polygonal look?

Nope, the gif is with standard Unity 5 shaders. Our modeller model everything with the low-poly look before we add them to the game.

We've been working on some GUI mockups the last week and here's a gif showing off the result. This isn't by far what we will go for in the end, but it's a good start!

We've also tweaked the colors some with the help of the awesome Unity assets Amplify Color and Colorful. I at least like it better this way, but we're going to keep tweaking it until it gets just right.

Don't hesitate to tell us if you like what you see, or even if you hate it. All feedback is good feedback and will help us make the perfect game in the end :D

I like the graphic style, it looks great.

Maybe its just me but the building in the gifs looks a bit like legos? I doubt you want that in your game, maybe its just that model and the current state of the game.

Anyways good luck at this im looking forward to seeing how this turns out. :)

Glad you like the style :D

The buildings DO look a bit like Legos atm, the game is still very early in development. But we are going to use some Lego-principles for the cities though, where they are built up from modules placed beside and on top of each other, but better-looking than the current state ofc :)
