copyright

hi guys im making a game right now however i downloaded a texture pack but it did say that he dosent want to waste something he wont use so people are allowed to use it. im making a game with it but idk if some1 made one with that texture pack ofc my storyline will be different but what if some1 did. can i get a copyright strike because i want to put this game on steam? plus im using a yt tutorial to help me with the game making since im an absolute beginner

 

No idea what texture pack you're speaking of (link?). However, you should be fine. Since that texture pack has been made available to everyone by its creator, no one can claim it as their own work.

If you want your game to be original, then create your own art assets
