Copyright Laws I Could i be sued for this?

    Hey i'm not to keen on copyright laws, is this too much? i heard somewhere stuff needs to be 30% Different so can i use this for a game, i just made it. (Hence the W)

    You could potentially, don't quote me though as I'm no expert in law or anything. I would change it if I were you, just to be on the safe side.

    You could consult a real lawyer for their advice though and see what (s)he says.

    Yes you could be sued. Trademark law works under an "at a glance" philosophy. If "at a glance" logo A can be confused with logo B logo B can sue to protect its mark.

    I'm not sure.
    I've seen quite a few uses of something similar as you did, where the fake logo clearly resembles a real life logo.

    Thanks, ive seen the same thing, and im sure they could care less about a small indie game but i was just asking for opinions :D

    I don't really know, but to be on the safe side, you probably should change it.
    Take a look at the "iPhone" on the GTA 5 box, for example.
    While the design of the object itself has been pretty much copied, they changed the logo to something looking similar, yet different:

    Difference is that a game like GTA will have already lawyered up and checked it was safe enough ahead of time. There has to be enough changes for it to work. I would say just be original and research what comes under parody.
