    Hi there,

I had to back up my project and move it to an external drive. I just copied the entire folder over to the drive, and then deleted the original off my laptop. (I know it's no the best practice, as I didn't enable visible metadata, and copied the library and temp folders)

I then dragged that project back over to my laptop, and into the projects folder.
When I open unity and look at the list of projects to open, it's not there.

I've tried just moving the Assets and presets over from the external drive, but it didn't work.

Is there anything I am missing, or need to try?

    Thanks

Unity Hub doesn't automatically pick up projects as far as I'm aware. You need to click "Add" and give it your individual project folder.

    Thanks.
I misspoke, actually didn't mean unity hub, I meant the project open screen in Unity 2017, but I have the hub now, and I was able to add the project.

    Thanks!
