It's chromatic aberration, but it is a little bit too strong in the screenshots and looks less aggressive in real time for some reason.

Unity3D Image Effects are cool..
Bugs fixed and optimized it a bit to improve the performance such as it ran faster while exploded.
It is one of the serial test to insert 3d meshes into HD video and simulate lighting/occlusion/shadow of 3d meshes by custom IBL shaders to keep up with the same enviroment in the HD video(1920X1080).

Those techniques are planning to be used for collaborative project instead of putting on sale at asset store.But for sure there will be other packs of advanced shaders which definately help to improve your game visual a lot to be available at store later.

Did you work alone on these demos or is this demo a part of your collaborative project that you mentioned?
This is A technology demonstration and thosesynthetic objects are ready-made 3d models.
So,yes it is a one-man job.

You've used the 3D assets very well . Overall I think the attention to detail is what I greatly appreciate. I connected my HDTV to my laptop and left the Angry Guitar demo running. It was fun watching the reaction of people when they figured out the could interact with it . lol! Good times!
I was wondering about the music in AngryGuitar, did you record these tracks yourself or are these purchasable tracks/ freeware tracks ? If these are, could you point me to the source.
