    Hi Everyone,

I self studied Unity in about 3 years ago. Back then it was still Unity 4 or Unity 5?
So my Projects are still under that version. It's just now that I have time again to continue my projects.

I already changed computers, so I no longer have Unity 4 or 5 installed. Can still download those versions?
I'm installing Unity 2019.1 its the only one I found in the Unity Website.

    Question 1:
Can I still use my Unity 4 or Unity 5 projects in Unity 2019?
I only made 2D Games and used C# Codes in my projects. Then exported them to Android (APK files)
All my assets are saved together in the same Unity Project Folder.

Question 2: I noticed you can now install Android SDK directly from Unity Hub. I remember I had a hard time learning how to connect Unity 4/5 and Android SDK a few years ago. Glad this time you can install it directly from Unity. But will this cause issues? When I try to export my existing Unity 5 Projects to Android/APK?

Thank you everyone for reading my post and for your time.

    Hello,
About your Question 2: Nope, there should not be any problem.

Question1 will be tricky to answer. In theory, you can just open your projects and unity will auto update everything you need. but when it comes to execution there will be some problems. first, always backup your projects! I mean it. just get some backup. after that, just open your project and let Unity to update your project, It will probably won't update it successfully and interrupted by error messages. go ahead and click every single error message and open in a code editor. and try to fix it. Unity usually tells you what is the problem and what you should do about it.

if you encounter an error that you can't solve, just post it here we can try to help you in that matter.

    Thank you NorthStar and Jankovalsky!!!
At least now I have 2 options to try..

Let Unity 2019 auto update my project... or use Unity 4 or 5 to continue my projects :) hopefully Unity 4 works on Windows 10 lol!
