Question "convert select built-in material to urp" keeps resetting after scene change

    i'm not sure if this is something that works as intended or not, but a couple of tutorials i found said that for pink materials i was supposed to use this function, and it works... as long as i don't change scene, but when i create a build or change scene the materials go back to being pink. is this normal? the tutorials i watched didn't mention that

    Have you tried saving before changing the scene?

    After you convert the materials, go to Assets > Reimport All. I think it must update the meta data or something. Anyway, that worked for me. :)

    For those wondering, i solved extracting the materials from the models that looked pink, then i repositioned said model in the scene. it works now
