Conversation Ip Violation, Can't sign in

I can't login in Unity hub or in assets store within Unity 2019.4.9f.1
then I tried to go to Unity answers, and I couldn't log in as well.
I am on macOS 10.15.6, tried using different browsers, everything is up to date (I tried unity Beta version 2020 and the same error still appears) disabled the firewall and I don't have a VPN. nothing changed.
I attach a photo of the error as well as a report created using
"Unity Package Manager Diagnostics".

 

I have the same problem, estimate Unity China to play tricks TMD

 

Any solution for this issue? I have multiple ISP's on my firewall.

I have the same problem. I'm not using vpn and my firewall was disabled, but when I try access (https://id.unity.com/) or try login using Unity Hub I receive this message. If I use my cellphone internet, I can access without any problem. I need to solve this problem without use vpn, because it's the internet that i use to work.

Please help me. I am just stuck. Why do we have issue with IP in the first place. I want to make payments but I am stuck.

 

This is not a customer issue, this is just a really, really bad security check designed and implemented by Unity developers.

This issue is easily reproducible in a multi-wan environment (for load balancing), where, for a same website you can sent multiple requests (named conversation by your error message) to the same domain using different IP.

So Unity, please remove this dumb conversation « security-check » and let us connect to our account.

Same boat here. Multiple connections and if one fails over i can no longer login. This is not uncommon for studios to have multiple lines for balance and fail over. This is literally show stopping R&D on a large immersive project here. Maybe unreal would have been better.... sigh...

 

Ok I had this happen but I found a temporary way around it. I just went into my unity editor and went to my accounts and opened my acount page from the unity editor to then access the unity store. This worked for me but only when i did it like htis kinda dumb tbh

 

Install the older Unity Hub 2.4.5 and it does not give this ridiculous grief. I won't post a link, but it is available.
I have dual WAN on a home system, so I get this message on the latest hub.
If this is how Unity treats its customers, then I will teach my students Monogame and direct them to open source engines instead.

 

This just started happening to me, but only on their various websites on my phone. Anyone have a fix yet? I'm not using a VPN at all, don't even have one installed.

I also facing same issues while I am opening Unity hub in windows.
I solved it on my PC. I hope that it will help you.
close the current unity hub window and again run as (run as administrator).
and sign in.

 

I'm also having this issue, no VPN running at the moment. All three (Edge, Firefox, Chrome) browsers give me this, cannot log into my account.

There does seem to be more and more friction when login in, when the overall process should actually be friction-less.

The only way I can login is through VPN. This isn't helpful because I can't put the entire high school computer lab where I am expected to teach using your platform on a VPN that bypasses our network filter.

Unity, please fix or comment on this. Why do you think your security is so advanced that this is necessary? I think from where the rest of us sit, something is broken or poorly implemented on your end. No other website presents this login problem for us (Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, UNREAL ENGINE).

 

I am experiencing this all of a sudden. Started maybe around the 20th of Jan. Using a VPN to America is the only way I can log in. I am in Australia. No network changes on my end. Just worked one day and not the next.

 

Can confirm this is still a problem for me too logging in form Singapore. Require a VPN to AU for access to login. Whatever this security feature is, it's incredibly bad

 

Well, given that this quite silly check has been implemented by Unity to block people from Sanctioned Countries (that can be more than easily bypassed by a DNS Server) that serves ZERO benefit to the Security of the user, I highly doubt it'll ever be removed...

Heck, Newer Unity versions can't even create SRP Projects as "com.unity.burst" cannot be downloaded due to the exact same issue plaguing their Servers... Unity used to be the King of both indie & AAA Game Development back in 2018, Now, even Godot manages packages better...

It looks like this is still a problem for folks. This could be a windows Firewall issue, as this youtube video points out.

I've also seen other people on youtube fix it by clearing their browser cache.

 

Getting the same error when trying to log in.
The only place that seemed to accept my login attempt seems to be the legacy Unity publisher portal.

As a temporary fix, I can however log in by clicking Account Settings in Unity Hub to access the Asset store and other places. Which has a temporary(?) login token saved I guess.

 

The temporary solution seems to have stopped working too.

 

I have the same problem. As a temporary solution I share internet from cellphone to computer, which allow me to log in in Unity. Then without closing browser I change internet connection to my standard WIFI and I and i stay logged in.
