Question Consistent material shading between multiple skinned meshes

    I've a modular character system that is separated by body parts (head, neck, body, etc).
    Each part uses different materials.

    The shading between the meshes are not consistent at the seams.

    I've tried recalculating the normals at import with every possible combinations, still no dice.
    How do I fix this? (without combining the meshes in Blender)
