Feedback Consider open-sourcing Unity documentation

    Microsoft has docs for the entire Windows API and lots more on GitHub: https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs

    It's easy to submit fixes if there's something wrong or misleading and the quality gets better over time.
    Having this for the Unity API + packages would be great.

    I agree. There's a lot of detail about Unity API behaviour that has been somehow determined by experienced Unity users (from live talks they were at, even, sometimes!) and that has been posted across many and varied blogs and forums. Having to track it down, for each issue, for each of us users, can be frustrating. If we had access to a mechanism for condensing that onto the Unity docs pages, it would make the documentation enormously more useful. Even a mechanism for highlighting questions that the docs leave unanswered would be a great step forward, underlining very clearly what information remains to be provided.
