Hello. I am begginer in unity and I am working on top down game. I've already created character and animations but I have a problem. For now character has only 2 animations. Running and shooting. Problem is that shooting cancels running. I mean when I run and I press shoot, shoot animation plays in wich legs don't move. Is there a way to somehow connect those animations or I just need to make shooting while running animations

    Hi,

you can use different layers. As i suggest you want that the legs keep on running, but the arms stop "running" and start shooting. You can use one layer (the base layer) for lower body animations and a second layer for upper body animations. The second layer has a mask assigned so that he only affects the upper body.
Then you can have two animations for the upper body: One for shooting, one for running with an appropriate transition.
