Connect with your mobile - and no code sent

    Hello guys, anyone has the same situation as me, I go to the asset store the website keeps telling me Connect wif your mobile and ask me to enter a code will be sent to my phone, I enter my phone number but no code was sent to me (I'm in Vietnam) so I just can't enter the asset store, to buy new asset or download my purchased assets (lot of them) it happens in the Unity editor asset store also.

    I can't submit a support ticket too for the same reason. So I have to put it here.

    Sounds like a stupid decision, but ~ok~ . Consider the following : A digital nomad who gets a new sim card every few month can't avoid this lock , now what happens if I don't have access to the same number anymore ? Do I lose access to my account ? I keep closing this popup for now, hopefully it will not force me to attach a mobile number to my account, otherwise ill have to buy a fake online sms receiver subscription.

    It seems like this doesn't happen to users from US and Japan. Does this problem only happen to users from certain countries? Is this discrimination?

    Thank you for the comments guy I've found out the way, use a Vietnamobile sim card instead, Mobifone is one of the 2 largest telecommunication company in Vietnam but you won't get the code from Unity if you're using Mobifone sim. A Viettel sim will work also I heard. Problem solved. :D

    Unity Support finally got around to me. I couldn't just switch carrier. It cost money and a piece of mind to remember to renew the SIM card. If you don't use and Top up the SIM card frequently, the carrier will lock the SIM

    Just for easy, you can borrow someone (your parent or your sister, brother... or your friend) who have one Viettel mobile phone number. Active your account by that number,
    After that, on account setting, change authentication to authentication app instead of a mobile phone.
    i choose google authentication application, but you can choose any application else.
    And everything will be ok.

    Exactly, I go to App Store (iOS) and download Google Authenticator, work perfectly.

    Do anyone know anyway to contact Unity for help? It's been like this for half a year or so, can not login, can not activate, can not do anything
