    Hi!

Confiner with damping set to 0 works as expected, but some smoothness is a big deal for me. However, with damping > 0, I'm struggling to understand what Confiner tries to do when Framing Transposer's target moves back and forth near a bound's edge. Why does the camera drag around like this?

It's pretty annoying and I can't use damping in this state. (Same in 2.5.0 and 2.6.0-preview.5.)

The behaviour I'm expecting, where no motion is applied to the camera if it's anyway going to end up pressed against the wall:

    Thanks.

I believe this issue is fixed in the latest Cinemachine 2.6. Can you try upgrading and let us know if you still have the problem?

You need to select this option in package manager to see preview versions:

No, as I mentioned it's not fixed in 2.6.0-preview.5, and just double checked.

We are working on a robust confiner system, which will also address this issue.

Hello, I have a suggestion about the behavior you are seeing. If you use the Framing Tranposer's dead zone, the camera will not move back and forth near the edges:

Let me know if it works for you.

Hello, thanks. It helps, but having a big dead zone is unwanted in my case.
