Config player banner no more displayed ?#

    Hi,

    I am asking this question since i found nothing about it but once i went to Windows 10 any more build i am generating do not include the config banner image. Is there a reason ? It is a bug ? It now look unprofessionnal because no image is displayed anymore.

    Same for me.
    I have the bmp in 437x163px, set to Editor GUI, truecolor.

    Would be nice to get it fixed once and for all.

    Using the config menu its self is pretty unprofessional. In my opinion it's there for testing purposes, but what games you see today really use a Config menu before game starts? Not many if any. I think it's more professional and classy to just have it all in an options menu. Yeah may be more work for you, but at least it's more professional.

    We are complaining about a possible Unity bug .... No advice on Gamedesign needed here. Thanks anyway.

    You´re right, I had an "ä" in the path - Unity guys please fix this.

    If you call it a bug - yes, the path must not include any "Ä,Ü,Ö" etc, (is this called unicode?).

    Yeah, I think it's a bug - it should either work or give you an error message at build time, it shouldn't just appear to work but leave out the banner image. If someone could file something and post the number here, it would help us keep track of the problem and make sure it gets fixed.

    I already posted a solution to this. It was a OS security problem. Try building in a directory on C:/Something and your banner should show up. I guess i posted the solution in some other thread i made.
