Component - Move to Front / Move to Back

    I've just been going over Unity 5.4 and in the Component gear icon, I'm seeing a couple of new options -- Move to Front / Move to Back. I've noticed all my components have them but they are all greyed out. What is the purpose of these options?

    I couldn't find anything about them in the beta 5.4 manual.

    It reorders the object in the hierarchy to the top / the back.
    That is useful for UI elements that are ordered by the hierarchy.
