    It looks well programmed, but I think it's not really graphically appealing plus I think people will get tired of it pretty quickly

    Thanks so much for your opinion, so what should I add graphically, I tried to keep it simple.

    It doesn't look slightly appealing. No shadow on the main "character" makes it even more unappealing.

    The concept calling it gravity killer, I have no idea why it is called that? It is a pretty simple mini game which needs a lot more polish.

    Aww man, that's kind of the same thing I have been working on... yours is more in the prototype stage on a smaller level design, but is still basically the same idea. Double Dang, back to the old drawing board.

    It's a unique game but I found the control system not really good for the game. If you are going to use the Accelerometer I think you should slow down the movement speed.

    The graphics are just as they should be and you are doing exactly what you should do when prototyping. Focus on the game-play first and foremost. You can always fancy up the graphics later.

    Actually, to be honest, I do both: When I do a prototype in some cases, a finished model (usually of the main character) is actually needed to program certain things right. And I my case, I often build the shader framework alongside the game's core, so that I can very quickly build on the graphics once the core's done.

    Either way though, very nice advice. And if anything, the king of absract, not-very-appealing-yet-addictive game goes to that piano tiles thing, (Not very good at it though... ;)) and, dare I say it... flappy bird! :D

    Flappy Bird... the popularity of that game speaks volumes about what the casual gaming market wants for sure.
    Simple. Then maybe simplify things some more. Finally, go back through, throw some more stuff out and make it a little simpler. But I could be completely missing the point and maybe the casual gaming market simply wants games involving one or more birds in a key role. Angry Birds. Flappy Bird. Maybe make Happy Bird and retire a millionaire. ;)

    @GarBenjamin:
    BIRD.

    That is all I read in that sentence. BIRD.
    And who agrees we should start another thread on Happy bird? (Just kidding! :D) Perhaps we could make another... NEVER MIND!!! ;) :D :eek: :rolleyes:
