compiler errors with VRTK

    When we load the vrtk plugin and try to use the prefabs, it gives
    compiler errors so i can't enter playmode?
    Why is this?

    VRTK development ceased almost a year ago due to insufficient funds.

    One month after it was discontinued the author tried to acquire the funds through Kickstarter and it failed there too.

    Once development ceases on an asset it very quickly loses support for the latest releases of Unity. If you read the reviews you will notice that VRTK on the Asset Store does not support Unity 2018. Github has a newer copy that you can download but if that doesn't work you will have to downgrade to Unity 2017.

    VRTK is still alive and version 4 has been in the works for several months as Oculus is funding it. Don't use the asset store version as it seems to be abandoned. The github version works with the latest non beta Unity versions and for example is required for Unity 2018.x support.
