Resolved Competitive Multiplayer hosting

    Hello,
    I am working on an 2D Shooter game and I will need Multiplayer for it.

    I decided to use Netcode for Entities but my budget is very limited.

    Does anyone know a cheap server hosting service that works with Netcode for entities?

    Hi @TheRareStudios , you can use Unity Game Server hosting (Multiplay). You get a few hundreds $ of credits to test it out and see how much it would cost you in a real testing environment.

    Thanks,
    I decided to host the game on an own Windows server but I’m not sure how to do that.
    Do you need to change something in the NetworkManager component ?

    @TheRareStudios No, but you need to make sure that your clients can go over your firewall at a hosting level, I.E: using NAT punchthrough, which might fails sometimes. That's why services like Relay and Multiplay exist.
