Community VS 2022

    The latest version of unity only lets the user chose as IDE, Visual studio community 2019 and it would be a great feature if you could work with the newest version of VS, like VS Community 2022 while coding in unity.

    Isn't VS Community the only free Visual Studio version (up to 5 users in an organisation) as per the licence conditions set by Microsoft? Or I am mis-understanding the question...

    I didn't check which exact version is shipped with Unity... but if it's an older version - wouldn't VS update to the latest?

    VS 2022 does work for unity, even though it isn't officially supported yet by the package. I am using the 2.0.12 version as I had some issues with 2.0.14 (Solution explorer didn't work properly).
