Colliders don't work with Animate Physics

    Hi, I'm having some issues with a collider that resides in the Player's Character. I'm using Root Motion and "Animate Physics" in the Animator because the movement looks much more natural and nicer.
    The issue is my kinematic trigger collider doesn't detect collisions. In the video below you will see how the collider is detected much earlier than even touches the barrel. Is there any setting I'm missing?
    I'm using Unity 2018.2 and collisions work perfectly when I set the update animator to Normal.
