Collab seemingly lagging up my Unity editor

Hi,

I am new to Unity and I have begun working on a 2D project with one other person. We started using the Collab function as this would be a great way to do our project together. However, it appears that having Collab active causes Unity to lag quite a bit, I find that at times its as smooth as it should be but the majority of the time I am waiting 5-10 seconds for Unity to respond to my action (click a menu, dragging a tile, etc). My work partner does not have this issue on his end so I did a bit of troubleshooting yesterday by opening up another project without Collab and that worked smoothly for quite a while so I do believe that Collab is the cause of the issue. I am curious as to what may be causing Unity to act this way when Collab is on.

I would be grateful if there was a fix to this as I would love to get started on our project.
