Collab Publish Error

I'm using 2018.3.5f and for the last few months, I'm having trouble publishing changes to collab server.Publish starts fine but if the total file size is greater than 100mb, the connection is dropped eventually and the collab bar says "Service Unavailable" with "No Internet Connection" below it. I also noticed the Unity Hub login is dropped when this happens.

I try opening a few websites with my browser when this happens but they seem to open fine so I don't think there is a problem with my connection. What I noticed when I get this error is the upload is still throttled and when I check the task manager Unity still seems to have some network usage.

 

Hi @homeros! I'm sorry that you're having troubles publishing changes. Could you try running our Network Reporting Tool to see if you're having trouble reaching any of our services? Have you also tried selecting a subset of your modified files, right-clicking on them and selecting Collaborate->Publish to selective commit a smaller number of changes to see if those publishes finish?

 

I've tried selecting subsets before and they failed the same way too. But I haven't experimented if the problem is too many files with a large file size total or one big file. What I know for sure is, if the total size is something over 100-200mb I have to repeat publish process a few times. I've ran Network Reporting Tool but it can't be uploaded here, so I'm pasting the contents here:

@ryanc-unity did you get a chance to look at the log? I'm unable to work with my team at the moment, because it takes nearly 10 tries to send an update.

 

Hi @homeros! We looked over your logs and it looks like there might be a timeout issue with Unity's authentication system that, in turn, is affecting Collab publishes from completing. We're pinging the Hub team now for more context on what's happening and we'll update you as soon as we have more information.

Your network report looks fine and normal. To let us further investigate, the next time a failure happens, could you send an email to collabsupport@unity3d.com and attach your Editor logs as outlined here and also your Unity Hub logs which can be found in one of these locations:

Windows: %UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\UnityHub\logs
Mac: ~/Library/Application support/UnityHub/logs
Linux: ~/.config/UnityHub/logs
