Hi @laurentlavigne, did you happen to record the times it took for Checking for Changes to finish using 2018.4.25 and whichever version of 2017 you're using? Are you using the same version of Collaborate as well? Are the projects otherwise identical, aside from which version you are loading them in?
current unity version: 2018.4.25, previous: 2017.4.40
Projects are not identical because of prefabs, scripts were updated, assets are identical
same built in version of collab
I understand. If you could user a stopwatch to measure how much time each session of checking for changes takes between each Unity version then it will help us see just how noticeable the difference is.
about 10" in 2017
30" in 2018
That is fairly significant. I would recommend opening a ticket with our Support team so that they can investigate it further.
You can do that by doing the following:
1. Navigate to project on the Developer Dashboard.
2. Select Collaborate > Support from the left hand menu.
3. Click on Open a Ticket and fill out the support form.
ok, tried that and get no collab word on the page
Navigate to your project's dashboard page. On the left-hand side you should see a Collaborate section, where the Support tab can be found.
it doesn't show up, weird
maybe if i press this big blue button
ok i needed to press settings>project settings> general project settings
service is a bit of a maze
anywayz i opened a support ticket
