Hi this is my first unity game, it has taken me about 8 evenings to get to this stage. It's a really simple 3D 'Luna Lander' clone, but landing on Mars instead.

Nothing is really textured other than the terrain. because I can't get it to look good. And I don't even know how to bump-map the terrain yet.

Anyway, all comments and criticism welcomed. As I would like to get better at using unity and try using it to make a client for an MMO RTS. (Think VGA Planets)

    Graphics are nice, nicely done.
But.. I don't understand how to play, how to control the ship and make it stable (balanced),
    keep going!

good point, I should probably add a controls page. or just a quick pointer on the title page.

Anyway it's 'space' to thrust and either the arrow keys or WASD to steer.

    High score!

    Yay...

    Well, nice game, bbuuuutttt....

    1. The circle has some zfighting going on from high-up
    2. If you land sideways, your top view will look weird...

i like this game. To control the ship from this perspective is a bit too hard because i can't see the pitch/yaw of the ship exactly. May be you could let the player choose the perspective or using predefined perspectives (top/left) to make a fast switch possible.

    keep on going!

Love it! Let the player change the camera angle, zoom in/out, etc.

    Good luck!

BTW I finally beat it after a few tries, 545 was my score.
