As a part of Unity’s commitment to provide creators with the tools they need to successfully build, manage, and grow their game, in February 2021 we announced that we have realigned Cloud Diagnostics (CD) to be managed by our teams that help you operate and monetize live games. We will continue to invest in Cloud Diagnostics as a part of the Analytics platform within Unity Gaming Services to ensure you have the tools you need to identify and resolve the bugs impacting your game stability. There will be no immediate changes to your offering and where you access the tool but we look forward to more deeply integrating it within the platform in the coming year.

    Dashboard enhancements

Unity is excited to announce that we have released a refreshed Cloud Diagnostics dashboard. This is the first of many updates to come as we continue to expand our error monitoring features and functionality. We have improved the dashboard experience to make it easier for you to review crash and user reports so you can prioritize the bugs that have the biggest impact on your game.

    Technical Documentation

Technical Documentation for Cloud Diagnostics has moved from GitHub and is now available in Unity Documentation. We have updated the documentation to provide additional details on the integration process, analyzing crash and exception reporting, receiving users reports, and uploading your debugging symbols.

    New features coming soon

Coming in April as a part of the Unity 2022.1 release, we will add C# line number support for IL2CPP call stacks. This feature will help you identify the location of the errors in your source code quicker so you can spend more time and resources developing, rather than debugging your game. More details on this feature will be available in the coming months.
