THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

We were actually having a discussion with the CEO of fuse on the forums about the fact that they are not making their own asset marketplace just yesterday.

Great Job, I look forward to seeing more!

    Fuse needs SCI-FI!

Thanks. I'm surprised Mixamo hasn't made that a priority, but maybe it's in the works. My next set will be prison clothes and possibly a hair pack, though there's a model pack for DestroyIt we need to complete first.

By sci-fi, do you mean like shock trooper armor, Star Trek(ish) uniforms, or similar to something you can buy on Cyberdog (futuristic clothes for civilians)?

    @tylerg Thanks!

I Agree would be nice to see sc-fi stuff, perhaps even the futuristic shoes marty mcfly wears most of the time.
but I also like retro clothing and hats like fedora's, guess that means i need to polish my modeling skills a bit, since I make textures more than models really.

I thought a 70s pack would be a ton of fun to make, but I don't see it having enough market appeal. I think a retro pack would be awesome and much more marketable. Something like L.A. Noire's styles maybe? I'd love to see what you come up with.

I've also got a couple more pieces in mind for this pack, mainly an open-backed patient gown and slippers, though they'll be a post-release patch.

It's great to see Fuse getting some 3rd party clothing support :) Just bought it from sale and it's fun thing to play with although I would like to see better shaders in Unity.

In a few days, we will be submitting the 1.1 update for the medical clothing pack to the Unity Asset Store. Included in the pack are four new Fuse-compatible models:
    • Alternate surgeon's cap (unisex)
    • Open-backed patient gowns (1 each, male and female)
    • Slippers (unisex)
We've also tweaked the female lab coat to fit the model better. All meshes have been tested with Mixamo's auto-rigger.

The price of the pack will rise by $5 when the update goes through, though of course all current purchasers will get the new meshes for free.

Screenshots of the new meshes are below.

I'm working on a hair pack right now, in fact. It'll probably be ready to submit in two or three weeks.

Finishing my hair pack has taken longer than I expected, but it shouldn't be too long before I can start another clothing pack. Next clothing pack will be police (patrolman) uniforms. (I know I said prison jumpsuits earlier, but I think the police uniforms are more useful).

<3 When I started learning to program I had about 3 3d design guys who were all "oh yeah that sounds awesome I would love to work on models for you!" And I can't get any one of them to make me a patrolman uniform haha.

...or fireman's clothing ::cough cough:: ahem- excuse me. ;)

I am going to be all over Fuse clothing packs :) Tired of making something look "close enough" and then just drawing on the texture to get it closer haha. Fine for prototypes but I have been dreading trying to learn blender modelling just to get decent clothes >.<

I think I'll be buying everything you release :) keep it up!

A police officer clothing pack would be awesome. I would buy it.

Police officers are very common in video games, probably second only to soldiers.

I'm not sure how similar a UK police uniform is to an American one, but this is the one I'm nearly done with:

I'm not quite done with it, so I don't have an estimated date when I'll be submitting it to the asset store. Possibly next week.

Also, today I'll be submitting a pack containing two Fuse-ready t-shirts. It'll be a free download.

I'll consider doing a bobby cap in the future (I think that's what the rounded one is called?) and adding it to the police pack. If I do, I'll also make sure the cap band on the existing hat is UV'd to allow for a checkered pattern and add a checkered pattern substance. That'll be post-release, though.

But I doubt I'll do that style of vest. There's a model pack by Werzan under the Clothing/Armor section of the asset store for Jackets & Bulletproof Vests that could be converted to Fuse with a little work, though.

No, it's a patrolman's uniform. It'll include everything you see in the screenshot above: Shirt, pants, utility belt, name plate, badge, cap, holster, shoes.

Unity refused the free t-shirt asset on the grounds that there wasn't enough content. I'll probably add a few more clothes to it and resubmit it, but in the meantime, I'll just put it in a dropbox link.

Consider the usage license the same as Unity's free license.

We just submitted the police uniform pack to the Unity Asset Store. I also changed the initial post to cover all clothing packs, instead of having one thread per pack. Be sure to grab your free t-shirts if you haven't already.

    Very nice assets!

I'm using Fuse since the first release. I would be really awesome if you guys could make an asset with Backpacks, helmets, boots, vests etc… of modern days. (Military) I drop that just in case you need ideas. :D

    Anyway great job!

Thank you. I'm not sure what packs I might do in the future. I'd still like to do a hair pack, because there aren't a whole lot of hair styles in Fuse.

More hairstyles would be great. I hope they build in an asset store at some point. It may encourage people to build more content.

I was thinking of doing some clothing for fuse characters, Deadly Accurate, how do you get access to the morph skeleton for rigging the clothing?

I am also baffled as to why there isn't a plugin to build fuse characters inside the game engine (like uma). The quality of the characters and morphs of the fuse program blows UMA out of the water.

The content creator pack is here: https://www.mixamo.com/fuse/import
You'll find base male and base female models in a folder there. The content creation instructions are here: https://community.mixamo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203829146-Creating-Custom-Content-for-Fuse

    A few tips I've learned:

Do a test fit in Fuse as early as possible in the process. It'll save you some grief before you get all the way done only to find out the mesh didn't precisely fit, especially for unisex clothing.

Unisex shirts don't look good on both genders. To look the best, you'll need male and female versions. (Try out Fuse's police shirt on a female character to see what I mean).

I don't know if it says so on the content instructions, but you can make up your own category names. Just click in the category and overwrite the name that defaults. I did not know this for the longest time. Eventually I'll fix the medical clothing pack so the surgeon's mask is in the Mask category.

If you use 2048 textures (the preferred size), when you import, there's a bug where it doesn't import the 2048 versions of the color mask or the normal map. After you do the import, manually replace those files in the Fuse database with your 2048 textures. (File --> Browse Imported Files; find the correct folder under \Cloths and replace those two textures).

    Hope that helps.

    Hey there,

I know it's been a while, but I wanted to see if any more Fuse clothing (and especially hair!) packs were in bound?

A couple of things I'm in need of:
    -- A tuxedo
-- Various elderly man hair styles

I hope to hear back from you :)
