Question Cloth behaves differently in Unity 2022 vs Unity 2019 with same component values?

I know its just a screenshot and not a video but the screenshot shows more or less how they are different, on the right it is more bowed in the middle and on the left it is more sort of 'folded' in the corner.

On the left is Unity2019 and on the right Unity2022. This is the asset https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/props/exterior/cloth-animation-based-flag-65842

I've checked the cloth component and the values are identical (I know the bounds values on the skinned mesh renderer are different in this screenshot, but those are constantly changing dynamically during runtime).

Has something changed in the way cloth is dealt with in Unity? Or perhaps something has changed in the physics engine? Looking to replicate the way the flag behaves in Unity2019 in Unity 2022 if possible.

    Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
