Just received a notification from a rather old thread, declared closed under entirely unclear reasons and circunstances:
    https://forum.unity.com/threads/using-jslib-cause-entrypointnotfoundexception-in-editor.470842/

I mean, there may be some post on that thread of a tense tone, but... what was specifically the post and the words so out of place to justify the closing? Cant read any actual overblown discussion or base for closing it, specially with a topic entirely valid, relevant and present!

Are we to expect threads to be closed depending on the moderators mood now?

Like I mentioned in the reply, the topic at hand was indeed very valid. We do have quite a thick skin to listening rants pointed towards Unity about Unity doing something or not doing something, but if the conversation turns to mocking others for providing suggestions to help, then at the will of the resident moderator, the barrier to close a thread is very light.

Ultimately, it's a grey zone and subjective but the topic was closed with a response and temporary workaround. I think it's unfair to say that it's to the whim of a moderator's mood. Just closing it without saying anything would had been unfair.

@jukka_j Thanks for the response. Please consider requesting participants to moderate the responses, before closing a thread. Closing a conversation also desarticulates all the constructive conversation around a topic. New people having the same issues will find a dead end, and all participants are prevented from staying in touch regarding the original problem.

The natural process through which people come togheter around an issue and participate on a thread is not free, means a lot of confluent individual and collective processes (and work!).

On a side note, I honestly dont know which part resulted mocking in your view, I read a single post that could be pointed as tense, and is a pitty that for such a trivial comment ("dont be naive"), all the rest end up trapped in a deadend.

Your contribution was highly valuable btw, although is not very practical on all cases as you pointed out, and would be great to preserve the conversation for future inquiries and perspectives.
