    Hello,

I reduced the light map size so I can iterate more quickly. After baking I have 457 light maps.
When I rebake or click "Clear Baked Data", Unity seems to spend too much time to clear the existing data. The bake itself is around 3 minutes, but clearing the data is around 10.

As a workaround, I delete the files manually (outside Unity) which takes seconds. Then I click clear the baked data inside Unity.

Seems like this could be a bug or an area of improvement for Unity.

457 is too many lightmaps, Unity does not really scale up that well as you found out.

for faster iteration, reduce lightmap resolution, not atlas size.

    Thank you

By atlas size I think you mean "max lightmap size"

Instead I reduced lightmap resolution as mentioned, as well as the number of samples (direct, indirect, and environment samples)

I also changes Lightmap Parameters to a lower setting

The number of bounces was already low so I left it as is
