Issue for DOF introduced in this thread.

I don't know the difference between HDRP PostProcess Volume and Cinemachine Volume.
(What is recommended and what makes a difference in performance or results)

The same bug seems to be reproduced because it seems to be the same or similar.

    DOF have critical bugs.

    This is a reported issue

    BUT
From the experience of users in the Unity community,
the problem has been around for more than 1.5 years.
And I can't hear Unity's official response anywhere.
(LTS Release Note, Issue Tracker, Forum)
Currently, the same problem is still occurring in 2021LTS (2021.3.10f1 ~ 3.14f1).

Is there a way to get information about this?
Is Unity aware of this? It doesn't seem to make sense that it doesn't work in 2021 LTS.

It seems to be an HDRP problem, not a Cinemachine problem, but
Cinemachine component has a function related to this,
    (Cinemachine Volume - DOF)
so I'm writing just in case.....

There is no difference between CM volume and HDRP volume. CM volume is just a global HDRP volume whose weight blends in and out along with the vcam.

The cropping issue to which you refer, according to the issue tracker, has been resolved in 2022 and 2023, and is under consideration for 2021. To me, that looks like an official response.
