Cinemachine 2D Free Look, perspective issue

    well even in 2D the camera and everything else are technicaly still part of a 3D engine following 3D rules

    in 2D, if you take the x direction as the vector that points to the right and y direction as the vector that points upwards, z will end up being the vector that points inwards, as in if its the direction the camera faces, its only the direction from your camera to your 2D scene, if the 2D scene has a smaller Z value than the camera

    as you can see in this image:


    thus lets say your 2D scene is somewhere place around z = 0
    that would mean that the camera can only see your 2D scene if it has z < 0, because with z > 0 the camera would be behind your scene and will only see whatever is behind it

    i m confused, why are you placing your camera in the positive z area in the first place? all you have to do is to start the camera in negative z and than not alter its z value from there

    not it's in negative I was making an example. Basically I can't use this camera for the effect I want to archive.
