    Hi everyone

ive been learning unity and up until recently have only used basic models to test and learn scripting, but now I am trying more interesting (not just primitives) models to make a game, and I keep getting holes in my models - for example a simple extruded face of a cube will have a hole in the corner.

I'm using cinema4D 9.6 and exporting models in FBX format. Is this the best way to do it? I did a search on these forums for cinema 4d but didnt come up with much.

    Regards,

    Will

    Try triangulating your model.

Thanks Joachim, that seems to work great, does it have any impact on the polygon count?

(aside from the fact its adding the lost part back in)

No same amount of triangles in the end either way.

It's generally a good idea to triangulate since the way Unity triangulates might be slightly different in the modeller you use, so if you want it to look exactly the same, triangulate in the modeller.
