Cinema 4D basic modelling query

    Hi Guys,


    not sure how much in terms of modelling queries I should be asking in this forum so if im straying from the intended purpose a little, i apologise.

    Ive got to a basic level learning unity and cinema4D but up til now focused on unity scripting and getting functions learnt and now I want to make my levels more than just surfaces to walk on, so I began making a basic room but im stuck with the doorway - I have extruded a cube up and then deleted 2 faces on either side of the wall in to make a door, but of course this leaves a hole so the player can walk inside the walls (see attached pic). Any ideas how i can join these verteces? I've tried selecting the verteces along the inside and outside of the doorway and using the weld function, but that just takes anything selected and seems to pull them all into a point.

    Any help much appreciated!

    "Close polygon hole" or "Create polygon" should do it.

    Bridge can also do it well, if you are careful.
