    Is there a way to do displacement mapping in Cheetah3d?

    If so, is there a way to convert displacement detail into actual geometry?

    I believe so. Do a search on displacement map on the Cheetah forums in the General Forum and the Tutorial forum. Not sure what you are trying to do but there are many examples. Maybe one of them is what you are looking for.
