CheckForCatalogUpdates is missing. Am I using the wrong Addressables version?

    Hi, I read about CheckForCatalogUpdates in the documentation but Addressables does not contain that method for me. I have installed Addressables using the Package Manager (plain search and install). This has installed version 1.1.10. I'm using Unity 2019.3.10. But when I check the changelog it looks like the latest version of Addressables is 1.8.3. Or are those versions you see in the Package Manager and the Addressables changelog different?
    I tried to modify my manifest file to use version 1.8.3 but it says package not found. Can anyone help me please?

    Fixed it, I had this line in my manifest file: "registry": "https://staging-packages.unity.com"
    I think I added it way back when testing some stuff. I removed it and now I can install the latest version.
