CharacterController advice!

I was poking around at the Unity 3D Game Kit and I really liked the movement and control the character had. Would you guys suggest that I adapt that controller to my game or should I write my own?

 

I hate to be "that guy", but you pretty much just asked us whether you should use soy sauce or honey mustard without telling us what you're cooking for dinner. If you're going to use the forums, I would proffer a suggestion: take the time to inform the reader. You cannot expect us all to jump to answer your question when you do not take the time to clearly state what you are asking.

Whether or not that character controller will work for your game depends on a very long list of things, none of which you have provided any insight on.
