Character Rig option not available.

    My settings appear to not be showing all the options that it should. This is what it should look like, however, the second image shows what I have available.

    So you know, I came here because of the tag of "2D physics" but it's nothing to do with physics. Please only use that tag if it's appropriate.

    May I ask why you want the first image? You don't state where it's from.

    The first image is from a tutorial where he indicates to be able to rig a 2D character, that that option (The Character Rig Option) needs to be enabled, however, my settings look completely different.

    What you sent in that link is what I am trying to do, however, it won't let me and I assume it is because I don't have the character rig option available/enabled.

    The packages I have on this project are:-

    Is your file a .psd file? It seems like you are using Unity 2020.3, and in this version, you have to create your own File Importer override to have PSD Importer import .psd files. You can read about the steps here.
    In Unity 2022, we ship this importer override with the package, so no extra steps are needed in order to use .psd files.
