    Hello,
I want to change the texture compression format of asset files in the package. However, it's disabled.
    How can I do it?

    Hey @unace,

Packages in Unity are read-only by default, this is to prevent local changes so that updates to new versions don't conflict.

You have two choices if you want to edit this texture's settings:
1- Copy the texture in your Assets folder and use it from here.
2- Make the package internal to your project, which will let you change anything in it, but will prevent further updates (you can still update it, but that will be a manual operation) - See the steps on how to embed an existing package in the section "Copying a Unity package from the cache" on that page https://docs.unity3d.com/2023.1/Documentation/Manual/upm-embed.html
