Changing Controls

    In third person, i want to use the mouse to look and rotate my character, how do i do this?

    I'm not 100% certain what you're asking. Do you mean you want the character to look and move to a point in the world that the user has clicked, or do you want the character in the game to look like he has mouse-look behaviour?

    If it's the first, you can look at the Survival Shooter. If it's the second, you probably just want the 1st Person Shooter Controls attached to the player with the camera mounted up and behind a shoulder. Just to note, the second case will need some extra code to make sure the camera has a clear view of the character which is also covered in the Survival Shooter.

    I think there's actually a "ThirdPersonController" in the StandardAssets somewhere. Just go up to Assets => Import Package and click "Characters" to see if it's in there. I'm always surprised by the amount of stuff I recreate that actually exists already in the assets, if I just had the wherewithal to look. It's more than slightly aggravating at times, actually, lol.
