Change editor icons ?

    It been long time since I start using unity3d. One small thing that start to think will be good if change. Folder and object icon need to change. It will be good if you give Canves, object and particle system it own icon.
     
  2. Why? You think something is wrong with these icons, elaborate why you think that.

    They have their own icons.

    What about the one on Hierarchy ? Or project icons ?
     
  4. There are no particle systems or canvasses in the hierarchy. There are only game objects.
    These two are components which can be attached to almost any game objects.
    If you put a particle system AND a canvas on the same game object, which one should be used for an icon? And if you put a collider? It cannot be done meaningfully. They show you if a game object in the hierarchy is a game object or an instance of a prefab. Basically that's it.

    What about them? Since these two are components they don't live among the assets either. You may have a prefab, but that's a prefab. Not a canvas or particle system.

    What about this icons ? Could this be different ?

    For folders, I found one asset call "Custom Folder Icons". Is not change all folders, at less do change some.
     
  6. These aren't folders. They are regular game objects (or prefabs) they just happen to contain other game objects.
