Feedback (Case 1155377) Importing dialog pops up and closes for every single prefab in the project

When importing an entire project in 2019.3, the "Importing" dialog pops up and closes for every single prefab in the project:

• Making it difficult to work on the computer, because that windows pops up out of nowhere every few seconds
• Making it hard to actually know the overall progress of the project import

Open the project from Case 1108597

Expected
The import progress reporting should stay visible as long as Unity is importing stuff and should display the actual progress.

 

Background importing would also be a nice thing to have. then we don't need any dialog at all.
