Hi everyone, ,my first post here. I have this cartoony city on my to do list for a while, and finally I decided to sit down and finish it. this is first building "blockout".

My goal is something like 8-10 buildings, 2-4 houses, street elements and trees, grass etc.

And also wanted to ask, is this style something that people would buy?

    Hi sayoend,

I like it actually. What are your plans on colours/shaders?

I suggest make it more modular. Anyone can then set own configuration.

Yeah, I started with modular streets and other stuff, but for buildings i kinda want them to be fully unwrapped for details (I hope it doesn't get texture heavy), maybe second pack could be fully modular. Still got some time to think about it, thanks.

TBH I'd also add a more "plain" Version of it. Like the coloured variants, too, but something more plain could go well in lower poly "destructive" sceneries. "End of the world" stuff, you know. Dunno how you plan on creating the textures, but eventually you can even just tint the .pngs in Photoshop later on (instead of recolouring everything by hand). That could add some value for relatively low effort.

Textures will be hand painted. For now buildings are around 3500 tri's, but I will definitely do low poly for mobile devices

I think the dirty look suits the setting. If you can't decide, though, a lot of assets include multiple variations of a texture so that the buyer can choose what sort of look that they want.
