    Car Paint Shader PRO gives you efficient and photorealistic shaders for car models.

    Pack includes 8 shaders :
    - Car Paint
    - Car Paint Duo Color
    - Car Paint with Alpha Blending
    - Car Paint with Bump Mapping and Reflection Refraction
    - Car Glass Shader with Reflection and Fresnel Formula
    - Car Glass Shader with Bump Maping and Reflection Refraction
    - Car Chrome Shader
    - Car Paint with Decal

    Features :
    - Up to 4 Lights Sources + Directional Light
    - Full Self Shadowing and Shadow Casting
    - Works in Forward and Deferred Rendering
    - Diffuse and Ambient Color
    - Specular Color with Gloss
    - Bump Mapping
    - Reflection Cubemap
    - Reflection Fresnel
    - Flakes with 3 prepared sparkle textures fully adjustable via shader parameters

    Can we see it in a webplayer? Would love to rotate the lights and the model a bit.

    Sorry I was sick few days but now I'm back. So one request so far is webplayer with moving lights?

    Looks quite nice!
    Upon seeing the first screenshots, I wondered about pearlescent style of paint(multi-colour), but the 3rd to last picture (the blue+purple car) seems to suggest this is possible.

    One thing I would like to know though (maybe it would/could be visible in the webplayer?); can it do real-time reflections?
    I think this is an important feature that any good looking car-racing game absolutely needs to have.

    Ravel said his shaders can, and they cost the same. (I don't really like to draw comparisons, but these are obviously competing products :p )

    This looks promising. I'd like to second Djiel's question though: Are real-time reflections possible?

    Yes real time reflections are possible just like in Ravel shader - by using script that renders environment to cube-map every frame ....
    And yes they cost the same on shader side :) Not on cubemap rendering side.

    I think Ravel don't tell all truth in his topic - I dont know.
    There is no way Ravel shader uses screen space reflection - and if use - those can be only use to fresnel reflections.

    About script - its small script that I can share with everyone interested.

    I cannot add real reflection script to pack because it will make shader require Unity Pro. So I can upload it somewere (its simple script from wiki btw)

    I think I will better understand exactly how your shader works once the Webplayer demo is up.

    It would be great if the demo is in the garage pictured above, with the ability to rotate the car. :)

    In free time I will add some color point lights flying around car to visualize that shaders react on point lights
    Demo uses Deferred Lightning and SM3.0. Sorry but I had lightmaps for DL and didnt wanna rebake all over again for Forward Rendering.

    Really liked the demo! Is it done with free version or Pro?

    demo is made with PRO. But shaders don't require Pro version.

    Package doesn't contain scene. Sorry but its part of our new game in which we use our shader OFC :)

    You know ppl can extract shaders from webplayers don't you?
    I'd post only videos, for assets like this. Anyways, nice shaders.

    I will get this pretty soon. The chrome effect in the web player looks amazing!! And it's a fair price imo.

    Ive check it and yes - you was right - I deleted webplayer demo.

    Glad you like it - cause now is offline :)

    In next update I will put new chrome only shader for better performance than using paint shader to show chrome.

    I didnt find time to check it out but .... IMHO shader is too much complex and heavy to work without changing on mobile.

    But like Ive said few post before - when I will find some time I will check it out. Mobile was not my target but maybe with some little work I will prepare it to work on mobile.

    HI! RedDot.
    Thank you for making such a wonderful product.
    I recently bought this package.
    Some questions and need help.
    Shaders in the package have already been compiled. There are only pre compiled shaders.. :(
    So additional modifications to suit our game could not work.
    If possible,can you upload the uncompiled surface shader on store?
    or are there any other ways to modify the shaders?

    Uploading uncompiled shaders allow everyone to copy - paste in own shader and sell in Asset Store - thats why are compiled. Its kind of projection.
    Tell me how you wanna modify shader and I can make special version for you.

    Half of shaders from Asset Store are compiled. There is nothing odd about this.
    When you wanna buy software you wanna its source code? I guess you need pay extra to have it - if there is option like this. Even your Racing Kit have optional source code which is almost 2x more expensive than normal one.

    Think about it like this - someone work hard to make those work - and sell source to it in reasonable low price - someone copy it - changes few line - make it 3x cheaper and sell it. Its not fair I think.

    Another thing is my support for customer - 24/7 and always reply within 24 hours. So if someone wanna some new feature - I'm adding it. Shader is shader - it need work like was designed for - I guess most of scripts need alot of work always to make it work with your game - but shaders are different.

    Good thing about compiled shaders is that they work in both Unity 3 and 4 - and some uncompiled dont work when going from 3 to 4.

    Indeed i've optional source code, which is it's my most selling one then others. Because people want to customize, optimize or make their project based changes on it. As talking a coder, if source is possible, i don't buy the compiled version.

    I don't know u are aware of we're partners with Unleaded. Also just wanted to test your "customization" promise a message above. I'm very satisfied about response. We'll see near future how this things continues, because with current project, u bet we'll have some other requests too ;)

    Thanks for your quick reply.
    We wanted to add an existing shader to the vertex shader function and adjust dynamically several shader variables at runtime.
    We previously bought other similar car paint shader in the store. and Through modification of the source code It could be adapted to our game.
    But I couldn't with this pre compiled shaders.
    If we knew that the shader has been compiled,we didn't purchase this package. :(
    Most of the people usually want to customize and optimize for their project.

    OK since I have alot of requests to check / make iOS version of this shader - today I will check it on iOS devices and let you know how this goes. Im sure performance will be bad but maybe I will decide to make mobile version of this shader.
