Well, hello my fellow game developers!!! That may have sound corny, I thought of a intro comment for awhile now and came up with this...So, yeah...

With all the awkward silence gone, let's move on.

I'm finally at a stage where I'm creating a full game and not just doing little stuff here and there from tutorials. Now, I've been a user on here for awhile now, but has rarely posted. I'm now, creating a game that is called “Captured: The Great Escape” where you, the player, has to escape from a area. I always here from people around here and other game places to create from what your skills level is at now instead of creating the next World of Warcraft(Or in my case, the next Grand Theft Auto...A person can dream, can they?).

In this case, I'm taking everything that I know at this point, and putting it in this game. All of the work is done by me. Yes, another case of a lone developer...I have only one level done, which is the level that I'm presenting to you now. It will give you a look on how majority of the game will be played. I don't have all of the levels planned yet. I want to give this “Alpha/beta” out and get some input on what I can change.

I know that most of you guys don't like to download from a site, so I do have it on Kongregate. Which this is the link: http://www.kongregate.com/games/JoeStorm/captured-first-level-beta

And to those that do want to download it, I put it in Google Docs. This is the Windows. I don't have it put in Mac yet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5IpKvGDBbL3R3ZMbHpzWU94RzQ/edit?usp=sharing

Once you walk through the door, the level will repeat itself.

All the things worked - that's good. Took longer to load up than to beat, though.

The back wall texture was pretty horribly stretched. Tile that.

    It's looking alright.

Hmmmm I saw how long it took when I placed it there too, got to see what's wrong with that area.

Yeah, I saw that tooooooo late, I'm working on that right now

Thanks for the input on it!

Textures were far to stretched, the text once I got the pipe stayed, which could be kind of confusing.

^Ahhh okay. It stays on the screen for about 3-5 seconds. I was debating on how long to give the user the time to read it.
