Canvas with screen space - camera not visible until a property of the camera changes

    Hi,

    I have a strange bug: I do have a canvas with screen space - camera and the camera has render type base and orthographic projection. The canvas is not visible until I change any property on the camera in the editor. If I attach a monobehavior and change any property in Start() nothing happens, I can see in the editor that the value is changed but the canvas stays invisible. In the editor in the scene view if i select the camera, the preview shows the canvas rendered correctly.

    Anybody has an idea what's going on here?

    Well if anyone has the same problem as I, the solution was in URP the ui camera (in my example named GuiCamera) needs to be of render type overlay, than add this camera to the camera stack of your main camera.
