Canvas settings gone after enabling and disabling

    As the title says, after disabling and enabling my canvas, the settings seem to reset. Iv'e done some research and it appears it was a known problem, but the posts I have found are old and from last year. Has this been fixed in the recent version of Unity? I am using 5.2.1f1. It would be kind of hassle for me to upgrade now (time consuming) so would just like to know beforehand if it would actually fix it so I don't waste my time.

    Never mind, lastest version seems to take care of it, 5.2.3.
